One of the most beautiful geese — a vivid chestnut-red breast and boldly barred black-and-white flanks. Red-breasted geese originate in the Arctic tundra of Siberia, primarily breeding on the Taymyr, Gyda, and Yamal peninsulas. During the winter, they migrate south to regions near the Black Sea, mainly in Bulgaria, Romania, and Ukraine.
