Sebastopol Geese

Spiraled ribbons of flight

A heritage breed whose feathers curl and cascade like spun silk. Each bird wears a living sculpture of ribboned plumage — gentle in temperament, breathtaking in form. Sebastopol geese originated in southeastern Europe around the Black Sea and Danube River basin, and they first appeared in Western public records during the 1850s and 1860s.
